Supported Health Ltd. | Version 1.0 | Effective 1 September 2026
Agreement summary
This summary is not the agreement. It is here because you should be able to understand what you are buying before you read the full terms. If the summary and the terms disagree, the terms below apply.
| What you pay | CAD $199, charged when you join. |
| What it covers | Your first year of Founding Membership. |
| When the year starts | The day Supported launches, currently planned for 1 November 2026 — not the day you join and pay. Anything between joining and launch is included at no extra cost. |
| When the year ends | 365 days later than the launch date. |
| What “launch” means | “Launch” means the date on which Supported first makes its searchable professional directory generally available to families in British Columbia. We will notify you of that date by email. |
| What happens next | CAD $19 per month after the year-end date — locked in as long as you stay active in your profession. |
| Refunds | Full refund, no questions asked, any time before Supported launches and within 90 days after launch. After that, you may cancel at any time, and you will not be charged any future membership fees. |
| If we never launch | Full refund. |
| What you get | A “Founding Member” badge, a verified profile, and a direct line into what gets built. |
| What this is not | It is not an investment. You are buying a membership, not a share of the company. |
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and Supported Health Ltd., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (“Supported”, “we”, “us”). “You” means the individual professional who signs up for Founding Membership.
Founding Membership is bought by an individual professional, in their own name. If you are a clinic owner and you want to sign your whole clinic up as a Founding Clinic, that is a separate clinic membership with separate terms.
2. What “Founding Member” means
2.1 In one sentence
A Founding Member is one of the first professionals to join Supported, before the platform opens to the public. It is a paid membership tier with a fixed number of places, not a job, a title, a qualification, or a stake in the company.
2.2 What the status gives you
For as long as your membership is active, being a Founding Member means:
- A Founding Member badge on your verified profile, marking you as one of the first professionals to join.
- Input into what gets built. We will invite you to sessions, discussions, and product tests. Your view carries real weight in what we prioritize. Taking part is entirely optional, and your membership does not depend on it. It is your opportunity to let your expertise guide the direction of the platform.
- A protected price. You pay less than professionals who join later, on the terms set out in section 4.
- Early access to new features before they open to everyone.
2.3 What the badge tells families — and what it does not
This matters more than anything else in this section, because families will see the badge and we are responsible for what they take it to mean.
The Founding Member badge means one thing: this professional joined Supported early, and was invited to provide feedback on the design of the platform.
It does not mean, and we will never present it as meaning:
- that Supported recommends or endorses you;
- that your practice is better, safer or more effective than any other professional’s;
- that you have been assessed on clinical quality, outcomes or approach; or
- that you will appear higher in search results. You will not. Nobody can pay for ranking on Supported.
Wherever the badge appears on a public profile, it will carry a plain-language explanation of what it means, so that no family can mistake it for a recommendation.
2.4 What it is not
Founding Membership does not make you an employee, contractor, agent, partner or representative of Supported. You are not authorised to speak for Supported or to enter into anything on its behalf.
It also does not give you any ownership, equity or financial interest in the company. Section 8 sets that out in full.
The words “founder” and “a seat at the table” describe your part in shaping the product. They are not job titles, and they are not legal or financial descriptions.
2.5 It belongs to you, and only you
Founding Membership is personal. You cannot sell it, transfer it, or pass it to a colleague, a new owner of your practice, or anyone else. If you leave the practice you are in now, the membership goes with you, not with the practice.
2.6 How many there are
Founding Membership is limited to the first 20 individual professionals working in behaviour consultation, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology or physical therapy. A separate Founding Clinic membership is limited to the first 10 clinics.
Once those are taken, the tier closes, and later professionals join on the terms available at that time. If we open Founding Membership to another allied health discipline at a later date, we will say so on our website.
2.7 When the status ends
Your Founding Member status lasts for as long as your membership is active and your credentials remain valid.
If your membership ends — whether you cancel, or we end it under section 13 — the badge is removed from your profile, and the protected price no longer applies. We may also remove the status, without ending your membership, if the credentials it was granted on turn out to be false or have been withdrawn.
3. Who can be a Founding Member
To join as a Founding Member, you must:
- be a practising allied health or support professional in the identified profession groups, working with autistic people in British Columbia;
- hold current registration or credentials in your discipline, and be able to show them to us;
- be signing up as yourself, not on behalf of someone else; and
- be 19 or older.
We may decline or cancel a membership if you do not meet these conditions. If we decline you, we refund you in full.
If we discover after payment that you do not meet these conditions, we may cancel the membership. We will refund you in full unless the application contained information that was deliberately false or misleading.
If you work at a clinic that holds a Founding Clinic membership, you may still buy an individual Founding Membership in your own name. It takes one of the 20 places, and your profile travels with you if you leave that clinic.
4. What you pay, and when
4.1 The joining fee
Founding Membership costs CAD $199. We charge your card when you sign-up. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
4.2 What the $199 covers
The $199 covers your first year of Founding Membership.
Your first year begins on the day Supported launches to the public — currently planned for 1 November 2026 — and ends 365 days later.
It does not begin on the day you pay. The period between joining and launch is included at no extra cost.
4.3 After the first year
After your first year, Founding Membership continues at CAD $19 per month, billed monthly, until you cancel.
We will email you 7 business days before the first monthly payment is taken, including the date and amount.
4.4 How long your protected price lasts
The $19 monthly rate applies for as long as your Founding Membership stays continuously active, you remain active in your profession, and you hold current registration or credentials in your discipline that you can show us on request.
If you cancel your Founding Membership and later rejoin, you rejoin at the rate available at that time.
5. Cancelling and refunds
5.1 Before launch
You may cancel your Founding Member status and receive a full refund any time before launch.
We plan to launch on 1 November 2026. However, because we are a young company, we have given ourselves a three-month grace period in case the date moves.
If Supported has not launched by 1 February 2027, you may cancel, and we will refund your $199 in full. You do not need to give a reason. Email info@supported.health and we will process it within 10 business days.
If we are delayed beyond the planned launch date of 1 November 2026, we will inform you and ask you if you would be OK to wait until the new planned launch date – which will not be any later than 1 February 2027. If not, we will refund you.
5.2 If we do not launch at all
At any stage, if we decide not to launch at all, we will contact every Founding Member by email and by telephone, and refund every Founding Member in full, without anyone having to ask.
5.3 After launch
Once Supported launches, your $199 covers your first full year of Founding Membership.
If you decide that Founding Membership is not right for you, you may cancel within 90 days of Supported’s launch, and we will refund your $199 in full.
After those first 90 days, the $199 is non-refundable. You may still cancel your membership at any time. If you cancel before the end of your first year, you will not be charged the monthly membership fee that would otherwise begin after your first-year ends.
At any time, refunds include any taxes paid on the refunded amount and will be processed within 10 business days. Cancellation stops future membership charges. Any charges properly incurred before cancellation remain payable unless this Agreement specifically says they will be refunded.
6. What Founding Membership gets you
For as long as your membership is active, we will provide:
- a verified professional profile on Supported, published only with your confirmation;
- a Founding Member badge on that profile;
- early access to new features as we release them; and
- a direct route to give input on what we build — through sessions, discussions and product tests. Taking part is optional.
The Founding Member badge stays on your profile for as long as your membership is active. If your membership ends, the badge is removed.
7. What we do not promise
We think it is fairer to be plain about this than to bury it.
- We do not promise that any family will contact you, or how many will.
- We do not promise any level of income, referrals, enquiries or bookings.
- We do not promise a specific launch date. 1 November 2026 is our plan, not a guarantee. Section 5 sets out what happens if it moves.
- We do not promise that every feature described on the website will exist at launch, or in the form described. Where a feature is not ready, we will say so.
- We are not a referral service, and we do not send work to particular professionals.
8. Founding Membership is not an investment
Founding Membership is a paid subscription to a service. It is not an investment, a security, a share, a loan, or any other financial instrument.
Paying the $199 does not give you:
- any ownership of, or shareholding in, the company;
- any share of revenue, profit, or the proceeds of any sale of the company;
- any voting right, board seat, or control over how the company is run; or
- any right to repayment beyond the refund rights in section 5.
The word “founder” and the phrase “a seat at the table” describe your role in shaping the product. They do not describe a legal or financial interest in the company.
9. Your profile and your information
9.1 You control what is published
Nothing about you appears on Supported until you have confirmed it. We do not copy profiles from public registries or other directories, and we never publish a professional who has not opted in.
9.2 You own your content
The words, photographs and materials you put on your profile remain yours. By publishing them you permit us to display them on Supported and to show them in search results and previews, for as long as your profile is live. That permission ends when your profile comes down.
We may keep information that we are legally required to retain and copies held temporarily in routine backups. We will not use backup copies for any new purpose.
9.3 Keeping it accurate
You are responsible for making sure your profile is accurate, and your credentials are current. Email us within 10 business days if your registration status changes, including a suspension, a condition on practice, or a renewal lapse.
9.4 Verification
We check credentials before a profile goes live and periodically afterwards. If a credential expires, lapses, is suspended or is withdrawn, we will take the profile down until the issue is resolved. We may end the membership without a refund if you deliberately provided false information, concealed a change in your registration status, or repeatedly failed to keep your credentials current.
9.5 Taking your profile down
You can unpublish your profile at any time, for any reason, without ending your membership. Email us, and we will remove your personal information from Supported.
We may keep information that we are legally required to retain and copies held temporarily in routine backups. We will not use backup copies for any new purpose.
10. How Supported works, and what it will not do
- There are no star ratings, no rankings, and no reviews on Supported.
- Nobody can pay to appear higher in search results. Paying more does not move you up.
- Search results are ordered by relevance to what the family is looking for, including distance from their location.
- We do not give medical or clinical advice, and we do not endorse or recommend any professional. We present verified facts and let families decide.
11. Your side of the agreement
You agree to:
- give accurate information about yourself, your qualifications and your practice;
- keep your registration and insurance current, as your profession requires;
- communicate respectfully with families and with other professionals on Supported;
- follow your own professional college’s rules on advertising and conduct — those rules apply to your profile as much as anywhere else; and
- not misuse the platform, including by scraping it, misrepresenting your services, or using family contact details for anything other than responding to an enquiry.
11.1 Insurance
You must hold professional liability insurance appropriate to your discipline for as long as your profile is live, and show us evidence of it when you join and when we ask. If your cover lapses, tell us within 10 business days and we will unpublish your profile until it is back in place.
12. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act and, where applicable, Canada’s PIPEDA. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. It forms part of these terms.
Families’ contact details reach you only when a family chooses to contact you. You may use them to respond to that enquiry and to provide care. You may not add them to a marketing list without their separate, express consent.
13. Suspending or ending a membership
13.1 By you
You can cancel at any time by emailing us. Section 5 explains what happens to your money.
13.2 By us
We may suspend or end a membership if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms — for example, by providing false credentials, misusing family information, or engaging in conduct that puts families at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to put it right first.
If we end your membership because you breached these terms, fees already paid are non-refundable.
If we end your membership for reasons unrelated to any breach or misconduct by you, we will refund the unused portion of your first-year membership fee on a prorated basis, and you will not be charged any further membership fees.
14. Changes to these terms
We may need to update these terms. If a change materially affects what you are getting or what you pay, we will email you at least 15 days before it takes effect.
If we materially remove an important paid benefit and do not provide a reasonably similar replacement, you may cancel. If this happens during your first year, we will refund the unused portion of your first-year fee on a prorated basis.
If you do not accept the change, you may cancel your membership before the change takes effect. You will not be charged any future membership fees.
If the change occurs within the first 90 days after Supported launches, your refund rights under section 5.3 still apply.
Your protected price is governed separately by section 4. A change to these terms does not change your protected rate.
15. Liability
The liability provisions in section 14 of the Supported Terms of Service apply to this Agreement. You remain responsible for your own professional practice, services, advice, treatment, profile information and interactions with families.
15.1 If a claim arises from your profile or your practice
You are responsible for what you publish on Supported and for the care you provide. If someone brings a claim against Supported because of your profile content, your credentials, the care you provided, or your use of a family's contact details, you will cover our reasonable costs and any amount we are ordered or agree to pay.
This does not apply where the claim was caused by our own error, and it does not apply to anything we did wrong. We will tell you promptly about any such claim, let you take part in how it is handled, and not settle it without talking to you first.
16. General
This Agreement, the Supported Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and Supported. If they say different things about Founding Membership, this Agreement applies.
They are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
You cannot transfer your Founding Membership to another person. It belongs to you.
