Supported Health Ltd. | Version 1.0 | Effective 1 September 2026
Summary
This is not the agreement, and it does not replace anything below. It is here so you know what you are agreeing to before you read it.
• Supported helps families in British Columbia find allied health professionals who support autistic people.
• Supported is free for families.
• We do not give medical or clinical advice, and we do not recommend or endorse anyone. We show verified facts and let you decide.
• We check credentials before a profile goes live. That confirms a credential is real and current — it is not a judgement about quality.
• There are no star ratings, no reviews and no rankings. Nobody can pay to appear higher.
• Professionals publish their own profiles. We never list someone who has not opted in.
• We are not part of the care you receive or provide, and we are not responsible for it.
1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
Supported is operated by Supported Health Ltd., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (“Supported”, “we”, “us”).
These terms apply to everyone who uses “www.supported.health”, any Supported app, and everything on them — before and after the platform launches. That includes browsing, searching, joining a waitlist, creating an account, publishing a profile, and similar actions.
By using Supported, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
1.1 Other agreements that may also apply
Some people have a second agreement with us as well:
- professionals who buy a Founding Membership are also covered by the Founding Member Agreement;
- professionals who reserve or buy an Early Adopter membership are also covered by the Early Adopter Member Agreement;
- clinics that reserve or buy an Early Adopter Clinic membership are also covered by the Early Adopter Clinic Agreement;
- clinics that buy a Founding Clinic membership are also covered by the Founding Clinic Agreement; and
- everyone is covered by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
If one of those agreements says something different from these terms about the thing it covers, that agreement wins for that subject.
2. Who can use Supported
You must be 19 or older to create an account. Families under 19 are welcome to browse, but an adult must create the account.
If you create an account for a professional or a clinic, you confirm you are allowed to act for them.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your login details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them.
3. What Supported is - and what it is not
3.1 What we do
We publish information about allied health and support professionals who work with autistic people in British Columbia, and we make it searchable. This searchable directory is our core public service. We may also provide account, profile, communication, team-management and analytics tools.
3.2 What we are not
We are not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or give clinical advice.
We are not a referral service. We do not send families to particular professionals.
We do not endorse or recommend anyone. A profile on Supported is not a recommendation from us.
We are not a party to the care a professional provides. That relationship is between you and them.
We are not an emergency service. If someone is at risk, call 911 or your local crisis line.
3.3 Checking for yourself
Deciding who to work with is your decision. We verify credentials — section 4 explains exactly what that does and does not mean — but we cannot make that decision for you. Ask your own questions, and check registration directly with the relevant college or certifying body.
4. How we verify professionals
4.1 What we check, and when
Before a profile goes live, we check that the person is who they say they are and that each credential they list is real and current on the day we check it.
Where a profession is regulated in British Columbia, we check the public register of the relevant regulatory college and confirm the name, the registration number and that the registration is in good standing.
Where a profession is not regulated in British Columbia — for example behaviour consultants, behaviour interventionists and tutors — we check the certifying body, the qualification, or both, and we say on the profile which of these we checked.
We put our best effort to verify the information provided. In cases where we can not verify the information provided in our own terms, we will state this on the professionals/clinics profile.
We re-check registration periodically, when a membership renews, and whenever a professional tells us something has changed.
4.2 What verification does not mean
Verification confirms one thing: that a credential exists and was current on the date we checked it. It is not a check of, and is not a statement about:
• quality of care, competence, outcomes, or whether someone is a good fit for your family;
• safety, complaints history, or past discipline beyond what a public register shows;
• professional liability insurance, unless the profile says we checked it;
• criminal record checks, unless the profile says we checked one.
A verified profile is not a recommendation or an endorsement from Supported.
4.3 What the badges mean
Every badge or profile status on Supported carries a plain-language explanation of what it means, shown wherever it appears. A ‘Verified’ badge means we completed the checks in 4.1. A ‘Founding Member’ badge and an ‘Early Supporter’ status mean only that someone joined Supported early; neither says anything about quality or affects search position.
4.4 The limits of what we can know
Much of what we check comes from public registers and from professionals themselves. Registers can be out of date, and people can misreport. We check in good faith and correct things promptly once we learn they are wrong, but we cannot guarantee that every detail on Supported is accurate at every moment.
4.5 When a credential lapses or is wrong
If we find that a credential is false, expired, withdrawn or under suspension, we take the profile down. Depending on what we find, we may also close the account under section 13.
Professionals must tell us within 10 business days if their registration status changes, including a suspension, a condition on practice, or a lapse in renewal.
4.6 Checking for yourself
We encourage you to confirm registration yourself with the relevant regulatory college or certifying body before care begins. Every profile names the body that applies and links to its public register where one exists.
5. How search works
Results are ordered by relevance to what you searched for, including distance from your location.
Nobody can pay to appear higher. Paying more does not move anyone up.
There are no star ratings, no reviews, and no rankings on Supported.
Badges or profile statuses such as ‘Founding Member’ and ‘Early Supporter’ mean only that someone joined early. They are not marks of quality. Section 4.3 explains what each one means.
We may change how search works to make results more useful. We will not change it so that money buys position.
6. For families
6.1 Supported is free for families
Searching, comparing, and contacting professionals is free. We do not charge a family to use Supported, and we do not put a family's access behind a payment.
6.2 Contacting a professional
When you contact a professional through Supported, we pass your message and contact details to them so they can reply. What happens next — appointments, fees, care — is between you and them.
6.3 Information about your child
Share only what you are comfortable sharing. Do not send clinical records or detailed health information through Supported. Anything you send in an enquiry reaches the professional you chose.
6.4 If something goes wrong
If a professional's information is wrong, or their conduct concerns you, tell us and we will look into it. Complaints about clinical care are for the professional's regulatory college, and we will help you find the right one.
7. For professionals and clinics
7.1 You publish your own profile
Nothing about you appears on Supported until you have confirmed it yourself. We do not copy profiles from public registries or other directories, and we never publish a professional who has not opted in.
A clinic can invite you and prepare a profile, but only you can publish it, and only you can take it down.
7.2 Accuracy and credentials
You are responsible for keeping your profile accurate and your registration current. You must give us whatever we reasonably need to complete the checks in section 4, and tell us within 10 business days if your registration status changes. If we find a credential is false, expired or withdrawn, we will take the profile down.
7.3 Your professional obligations still apply
Your regulatory college's rules on advertising, conduct and confidentiality apply to your Supported profile exactly as they do anywhere else. Following these terms does not excuse you from them.
7.4 Family contact details
A family's contact details reach you only when that family chooses to contact you. Use them to respond to that enquiry and to provide care. Do not add them to a marketing list without their separate, express consent.
7.5 Paid memberships
A professional or clinic profile on Supported is a paid service. Our current prices and what each membership includes are on our pricing page and, where applicable, in the membership agreement accepted at checkout.
Supported is free for the families who search it. Professionals and clinics pay for the profile and the features that come with it.
What you pay never affects where you appear in search results. There is no paid placement on Supported, at any price.
8. Your content
The words, photographs and materials you put on Supported stay yours.
By publishing them you give us permission to store, display and share them on Supported, including in search results and previews, for as long as they are live. That permission ends when you take the content down, except for copies we are required to keep by law or in routine backups for a limited period.
Do not publish anything you do not have the right to publish, anything false or misleading, or anything that identifies a family or a child.
9. What you must not do
When using Supported, you must not:
- misrepresent who you are, your qualifications, or the services you offer;
- publish or claim to represent a professional who has not agreed to it;
- copy, scrape or bulk-download information from Supported, or use it to build a competing list;
- use family contact details for anything other than responding to an enquiry;
- post anything abusive, discriminatory, misleading or unlawful;
- try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service; or
- use Supported to offer or promote services outside allied health and autism support.
10. Waitlists and pre-launch
Supported has not launched yet. Until it does:
- joining a waitlist means we will email you about the launch. You can unsubscribe at any time;
- we will not send you other marketing unless you have separately agreed to it;
- features described on the website may change, and some may not exist at launch. Where a feature is not ready, we will say so; and
- 1 November 2026 is our planned launch date, not a guarantee.
If you have paid for a Founding Membership or a Founding Clinic membership, your refund rights are in that agreement, not here. If you reserve an Early Adopter membership or an Early Adopter Clinic membership, the timing of charges, automatic renewal, cancellation and any refund rights are in the applicable Early Adopter agreement.
11. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act and, where applicable, Canada’s PIPEDA. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to ask for a copy or a deletion. It forms part of these terms.
12. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep Supported available and working, but we cannot promise it will never be down. We may need to take it offline for maintenance, and we will give notice where we reasonably can.
We may add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces something you have paid for, the agreement you paid under says what happens.
13. Suspending or closing an account
13.1 By you
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We will unpublish your profile and delete your personal information from Supported.
We may keep information we are legally required to retain — for example transaction records for tax purposes — and copies held temporarily in routine backups. We do not use backup copies for any new purpose, and they are purged within 90 days. Our Privacy Policy sets out how long we keep each kind of information.
13.2 By us
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms — for example false credentials, listing someone without their consent, misusing family information, or conduct that puts families at risk. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to put it right first.
If you have paid for a membership, what happens to your money is set out in that agreement.
14. Liability
Supported provides a platform that helps families find allied health and support professionals. We do not provide healthcare, clinical advice or professional services, and we are not responsible for the care, advice, treatment, conduct or services provided by a professional or clinic.
To the extent permitted by law, Supported is not responsible for:
- indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses;
- lost income, revenue, profits, opportunities, data or goodwill;
- decisions made based on information found on Supported;
- the conduct of a family, professional, clinic or other user; or
- interruptions, delays or temporary unavailability of the platform.
If Supported is found legally responsible for a claim, our total liability will not exceed:
• for a paid member, the total membership fees that member paid to Supported during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
• for a family or other person who did not pay Supported, CAD $100.
These limits apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, regardless of the legal basis of the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability arising from Supported’s fraud or wilful misconduct.
Professionals and clinics remain responsible for their own profiles, services, professional obligations, advice, treatment and interactions with families.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you at least 15 days before it takes effect, by email where we have your address and by a notice on the site.
If you do not accept a change, you can stop using Supported and close your account. Paid members have separate rights set out in their own agreement.
Every version is dated. The version in force is the one published on the site on the day you use it.
16. General
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any membership agreement you have signed, are the whole agreement between us.
They are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
You cannot transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else.
